Provided Drupal support for various projects.
Starting out as a junior developer at inResonance, most of my time there was spent helping to develop websites for private and independent schools using RTSB; a Java-based framework developed by Runtime Technologies. Eventually I moved up to become the senior web developer at inResonance and lead the development of the websites we were building. My role as a lead developer included responsibilities such as project management, client interaction, product debugging as well as JSP, HTML and CSS coding.
I provided programming support at AgencyPort, a company that develops insurance software. My primary focus was the development of the web-based product they called Project Site, which was coded using PHP and Smarty. I also performed XSLT translations on insurance data and created templates for software documentation using Microsoft Word with Visual Basic for Applications and Macros.
I instructed 200+ students in 7th and 8th grade on using computers, with a primary focus on getting them excited about using technology and instilling in them a desire to explore and learn more on their own. Part of the class involved teaching HTML to the more advanced students, with some taking the lessons even further. Students eventually developed their own web pages using the techniques they learned in the class.
While enrolled at Wentworth Institute of Technology, I interned at Charles River Analytics. My primary task was to assist in the development of the Mars ROVER II project using Java and Python. A self-taught language during my time at CRA, Python was used to build and test algorithms that were eventually ported over to the company's proprietary Java software. I also assisted with research on various subject matter related to then current and upcoming projects.
